The subconscious mind is always trying to keep us safe, so our mind tends to focus on things that aren’t going well or that we don’t like. This mindset hurts our confidence level for so many reasons. Specifically, we’re replaying old stories of our characteristic traits that we believe don’t measure up to par.
Today, try to embrace everything that makes you special. Then, start to name those things. Some people prefer to start with their physical appearance (hair, eyes, smile), while others prefer to focus on actions that they’ve taken. For example, how you’ve handled something, a conversation with someone, or an act of kindness. Make sure you include your core values.
Whatever you come up with, honor that trait in yourself. The more you do this; the more your confidence level will increase.
