There’s a word I use in my coaching sessions that was never part of my language when I was in corporate. Truthfully, it’s one of the most critical words in my current vocabulary. This word is one of the keys to my success and my clients’ success.
Grounded.
When I was a flight attendant, that wasn’t a good thing. Being grounded meant planes not taking off or landing and being stuck (often) in a city that you didn’t want to be.
Grounded.
Now, that means feeling like a solid tree with roots planted firmly in the ground. No matter what the weather, the tree stands upright. No matter what happens in my life, I’m solid- just like that tree. My clients have learned to do the same instead of toppling over as they might have in the past. Or worse, possibly, going into victim mode and giving their power up.
What do you do to help go through your days feeling grounded and solid so you can handle the challenges of the day?
Do you have a great morning routine?
Do you set deliberate intentions?
Do supportive people surround you?
Do you take time to journal?
Or?
Pick a method that you can do daily. By being grounded, you’ll notice a significant difference in your success at the end of the day.
This is an important practice to undertake and often needs guidance. Your actions must reflect personally what matters to you.
When you’re ready for those big transformations, reach out. My favorite methods for faster results are mindset techniques (tapping, neuroscience, and other resources I’m an expert in) and the appropriate strategies.
