Recently, at an event, I got the biggest “aha” that my passion wasn’t my big why.  These 5 years in business, I had successbeen confusing the two of them.  Thinking they were intertwined.  Thinking that they were the same thing.  They aren’t.

Have you been confusing them, too?

Your passion is what you love.  In my case, I love helping my clients grow their businesses in ways they never thought possible in speeds they never thought possible.  As they transform and grow, they help more people – which helps more people and so on.

Your big why is why the heck you are doing this.  What you really, really want.  In my case, there’s a lifestyle I want which is full of travel and freedom.  Especially, to travel to bright sunny places with beautiful beaches.  The more I can do this, the happier I am.  That’s what it is all about – living a happy life.

By intertwining the two of them, I wasn’t really being honest or clear with myself about what I am really doing here.  Have you been doing the same thing?

Let’s check and see by taking a few minutes to answer these questions.

What is your passion?

What is your big why?

Here’s a few tips to help you clarify.

#1 – What gets you out of bed in the morning?  (passion)

#2- Why are you an entrepreneur instead of working at a job? (big why)

#3- What do you really, really, really want your life to look like? (big why)

#4- What makes you ecstatic? (passion)

Do you see the difference in the two?  Once you understand that, the clarity propels you even faster into success.   That’s what makes it easier to focus and take action.  It gives you the clarity on knowing when and what to invest in.  Then you can get on track to live the life you’ve always imagined.

Be Brilliant,
