A woman I met recently at a networking event was complaining about her lack of 19483707_sbusiness success.  I’m sure you know the type.  Here’s what she told me.

She created a plan to get new clients.  At first she was really excited – even on fire – as she started to take action.  And, then, as time passed, she noticed she wasn’t getting the results she hoped for.  So, what did she do – she stopped.  She stopped taking action and stopped moving forward. And, then she started complaining.

Has that ever happened to you?  You’ve got a plan, you start working on it and then partly through, you get discouraged and stop.  Maybe you blame yourself, feel that what you’re doing isn’t right and all sort of other negative talk pops up.  Then, you decide to go with “Plan B”.

“Plan B” usually means giving up and doing something else or giving up and doing nothing.

I want you to stop doing that!  Your “Plan B’s” could be the death of your business growth and success.  It’s one of the fastest ways to stop moving forward.

To really get to where you want to go, you have to be fully committed to your end results.   You have to know it, see it, feel it and believe it in order to get there.  I call that being in your “Money Zone”.  Otherwise, it’s too easy to give up.

Next time you’re not getting the results you want, ask yourself these questions:

1.  Am I executing this correctly?

2.  Do I have all of my bases covered?

3.  Have I done enough?

4.  What is one more thing I can do to move me closer to my goal?

5.  Have I gotten feedback/suggestions from my coach?

Here’s what I don’t want you to do:

1.  Start blaming others

2.  Call your friends/post on Facebook and have a “pity party”

3.  Get “Bright Shiny Object Syndrome” and find something new to try

4.  Stop taking action

5.  Tell yourself it can’t be done

Most importantly, here’s what you need to do:

Make a commitment to your goal.  No “Plan B”.  If you get stuck,  get the help to get unstuck.  It’s time to shift how you’ve been responding when things don’t always work out as planned.  If you don’t, you’ll never reach your goals.

Be Brilliant,
