What would you do with a Quick Cash Infusion? This was a question I posed recently to solopreneurs who signed up for my Brand-New Call : “How to Have a Quick Cash Infusion”.
People responded that they would use that money to pay bills, hire additional resources for their business, take additional courses, vacations, and medical expenses for themselves or their family. Also, another common response was that the money earned would be a measure of their success and that would raise their confidence. Hardly anyone responded that they would use this Quick Cash Infusion for luxuries, everyone talked about needing it for necessities.
The answers didn’t surprise me – I’m not sure if that’s good or bad. It does show me that so many solopreneurs are still really struggling to become successful in business.
Have you seen the latest statistics about this:
- Over 6 million business start every year
- 95% fail in first year
- Of those remaining, 80% fail in the next 3 years
- In 10 years, only 4% of the businesses that started will still be around.
- only 5% of entrepreneurs make over 100,000 a year
- 95% DON’T!
That means that you have a lot of work to do if you want to get your expertise out in a big way and have a successful business

Please post below and let me know what you would do with your Quick Cash Infusion
Mine is for both luxury and necessity: An additional website (separate from the current one), some tweaks to the current website, put some away (of course) for the boys’ college fund, and then I was thinking the new car would be a luxury, but I suppose it’s getting close to being a necessity. So, I think I’ll add a family vacation to San Francisco so the clan can join me when I go to speak at the San Francisco Writers Conference in February.
And I’m thinking I’d also like some time off to write this summer. Quick Cash can do that too.
Looking forward to your upcoming course which I signed up for.
What would I do with a quick cash infusion? Hmm … I would give 10 % to my fave charity. Invest some in my business and pamper myself and my grand daughter in some way … maybe take a trip. I think your course will help entrepreneurs to focus on abundance instead of lack. Abundance is right under our noses.
Good luck with you course,
I love this question @Kate and the answers that you’ve discovered are really a powerful reminder that the “dream” of being an entrepreneur doesn’t always match up with the reality (at least not immediately!) One thing I have found in my own business is that the journey has moments where you can be super “squeezed” and it’s an opportunity to get really clear on how committed you are to your vision of being a change agent in the world. It’s important too to make sure you have some reserves to cushion those times when money is not flowing the way you’d like it to be! I bet you are going to have some amazing secrets to share and will prosper a LOT of people with this call! Thanks for sharing your great gifts with the world.
