Happy New Year!
With 2020 behind us and the promise of a new beginning in 2021. You’re a member of my valued community and I thought you might find the assignment I gave my clients helpful for moving forward in the new year. After all, you’ve heard me repeatedly say how we take back our power when we deliberately create. 2020 has been disjointed and a haze for so many. It’s time to take back control!
That’s why I’m giving you an essential assignment to do this week.
You are to write your 2021 Vision Statement.
“Whoa…you want me to what?” I know. It sounds rather overwhelming after a challenging year.  After all, it’s been a difficult year to plan and you might even be thinking why bother.  But, here’s the scoop.  Things start to change as you take your power back.
Let’s make this an amazing year for you.  Here’s how to start:
1.     Include the following areas when writing your statement. You’ll notice that it’s covering all areas of your life as everything is intertwined.
§  Business/Career
§  Health
§  Wealth/Abundance
§  Relationships
§  Community
§  Environment
§  Personal Time
2.     For each area, write down at least one specific goal you want to achieve this year.
For example: I’m enjoying exercising regularly for at least 30 minutes, five times a week. This activity helps keep my body strong and healthier.
3.     Finish by including the emotions you’ll be feeling.
For example: I’m feeling proud, excited, energized, fabulous, confident, and brilliant because of what I’ve accomplished!
4.      I like to end my vision statements with either “As it is written, so it shall be”…or “Let this or something more come into my life”.
Your vision statement will probably be about a page or so long. If you make it too big, it will be hard to focus on and accomplish what you desire.
Everything you write should light you up. Otherwise, why bother setting it as a goal.
Now, if you’d like to really challenge yourself, include goals that will get you out of your comfort zone. For example, if you’re already exercising five times a week for 30 minutes, continuing this won’t be challenging for you. Perhaps, you’ll take up a new form of exercise?
Let’s set up a time to discuss what you’ve written and what you want to achieve.  Click here to schedule your complimentary review.
During your call, we’ll start putting steps into action to get you on your way!
Remember, this doesn’t have to be perfect.  This vision statement is a starting point to keep you focused during our ever-changing and challenging times. You can also edit and revise this throughout the year.
Woo Hoo!
As we say in Boston, let’s see you hit it out of the ballpark!
