b2fd4991-04fc-4f31-827b-0e7a1e010392_aybg_iconI hear this a lot from entrepreneurs that I meet.  They tell me that they’re working really “hard” yet they can’t figure out why others are having more success than they are.

I used to feel this way too.  I’d look around and tell myself that I’m just as smart, my results are just as good (often much better) than others in my industry.

Little did I know that my “green-eyed” attitude was holding me back from having the success I wanted to create.

The truth is that there are lots of reasons why your success might not be happening as fast as you’d like.  For the purpose of this article, I’m going to focus on three of the top reasons.

  1. The first is that you might not be spending your time, energy, and resources on the most important areas of your business. Here’s what I mean.  I’ve met a lot of entrepreneurs who spend day after day, week after week writing a book.  Now, there’s nothing wrong with writing your book as long as it’s done during a time that makes sense in your business.  If you don’t have very many clients and aren’t bringing in the income, this is just not the best use of your time.  You’re best off focusing on what will bring in Quick Cash.  (I know those are the things that make you uncomfortable (like sales calls)
  1. The second reason is that your mindset isn’t in the right place to be more successful. This can show up in many ways (and most likely in the majority of them), such as:

a. Your money story

b. Your lack of self-esteem

c. Your belief in your own worthiness

d. Your lack of supportive community

e. Being ruled by your fear and doubt

Not until you start to work on your negative beliefs, fears, and doubts will you be able to play a bigger game.  I’ve worked with my coaches on mine and I’ve helped my clients work through their own.

  1. The last reason is that you’re so busy looking at what others are doing, that you’re not paying the right attention for your own business. If you’re spending your time looking and comparing yourself to others, it will definitely slow down your success.  As your confidence grows, you want to learn to swim in your own lane.  Everyone has a different style – a different personality, so if you’re busy trying to imitate what has worked for others, you will most likely be sadly disappointed when you don’t see yourself getting those same results.  You need to find what works for you.  What lights you up.  That’s how you’ll magnetize the money, clients and opportunities to you.

It’s actually easier to do than you would believe (as long as you have the right mentor).

So, which of those resonated with you as one of the big reasons you’re stuck?  What action can you take to move forward to start your shift?

It’s quite possible, you might be aware of what is your way, but, if you’re like the majority of people, it’s close to impossible to do this transformational work on your own (or at the accelerated speed you wish.

If you’d like to get guidance on how to release the blocks and accelerate your success, I’d like to invite you to apply for a complimentary Money Breakthrough Session.  Each month, I open up only a few spots on my calendar for this.
