Early Bird Tickets Available! Save $700Yes! I want to GO!!!

This year has just flown by.  I say that every year, as each year seems to go by faster and faster.  I had a great year – both personally and professionally and hope you did, too.

One big complaint I hear from so many of my clients is that they don’t have enough time.  They typically say  “too much to do and not enough time” or the day just flies by and they didn’t get everything done they needed to do.

There are only 7 days in a week, 24 hours in a day and 60 minutes in an hour.  There’s not much you can do to change that, but there are a lot of things you can do to maximize your time so you’re more productive and feeling happier, less stressed out.

Imagine having more time each week so you can move through your day at a more comfortable pace and have more time to spend the way you want to – whether that’s more time for your business, time for your family and friends or time for yourself.

These Success Tips will help you whether you’re a 20 or 40 or 60+ hour a week entrepreneur.

1)   Check your emails during specific times of the day.   This will help keep you on track instead of getting side-tracked by reading to and responding to every email.

2)   Take tasks off of your plate.  Either assign more tasks to your current team or hire someone to do these tasks for you.  For example, one of my clients told me he spent 6 hours putting together an ezine before sending it out.  He would spend this time making sure the ezine looked good, playing around with fonts, graphics, links, etc.  But, it was 6 hours spent every 2 weeks.   I suggested he hire someone to handle that for him.  He found a VA who specialized in ezines and it only took her 1 hour to get everything all set for him.  He has no given himself an additional 12 hours a month, which he uses for networking and family time.

3)   Learn when to say “yes”.    At a recent workshop I held, one of the attendees jokingly said “you can’t say ‘no’ to the PTA” when they ask you to bake cookies”.  The truth is that you have a choice.   When asked to do something, look and see how that fits in to your schedule, your moral compass and your life/business goals.  Perhaps, it’s something you can do but at a later date that works for you.   Or, perhaps, it’s something so misaligned with your goals that it makes sense for you to say ‘no’.

Very often, it’s difficult for people to say “no” and to set boundaries.  I’ve helped solopreneurs who are new in their business who say “yes” to every shiny object.  I’ve helped solopreneurs who have 10 + years, but are working 10 hours at night and on the weekends, outside the scope they were hired for and being paid for because they can’t say ‘no”.
