This was really cool when it happened. I learned how with the right action and mindset, anything is possible. Here’s the scoop….
A while ago, one of my mentors challenged me about my prices being too low. She had seen the testimonials on my website from my clients and she felt I was not charging what I was worth and undervaluing how I helped the solopreneurs I work with.
Initially, my reaction was filled with doubt and worry about raising my prices. (Does this sound familiar…”how can I do that in this economy?” )
But, my mentor wouldn’t accept that, and asked “how could I continue to help my clients increase their income if I wasn’t willing to take the same steps?”
Well, that made sense to me, but I was still a little skeptical. Not only with the idea of raising my prices, but that it would be a healthy increase. (Just like I teach my clients to do).
One of the areas I successfully help others with is teaching them “to stand on their own dime” (which basically means to “walk their talk“). My mentor’s conversation with me made me realize I had gotten complacent with some things in my business and it was time to get into action.
This was scary to me in some ways. It’s so much easier to stay in my comfort zone. But, my inner voice was telling me to listen to my mentor and that it was time for me to stretch and grow more in my business.
So, I took lots of deep breaths and worked with one of my mentors to clear out my mindset blocks about: the economy, that I wouldn’t get any new clients, how much others are charging and all sorts of other things. I created new programs where I felt I was giving my clients really fantastic value and fabulous results.
It worked! I signed up two brand-new clients that week. I felt confident and very comfortable in what I was offering and understood the power of my gift. It was really easy for me to talk to potential clients about this. People were more excited than ever to work with me.
Fast forward a bit…I continue to have lots of ideal clients signing up for my programs. My clients tell me that they never realized that this many successful changes in both their business and personal life were possible in such a short time. They’re happy and thrilled with their results and I’m happy and thrilled for them. I give 125% to them and they give 125%.
And, the most interesting thing also happened. My clients are getting even better results than ever before. Through the use of my special formula I developed, which combines my three (3) areas of expertise: Business Development, Tapping and Laws of Attraction, their businesses are becoming more successful faster than ever.

How exciting Kate! That breakthrough is so important, and is the same issue for many. It’s taken a while to get to comfort level of charging what I do, but skipping over the ‘getting comfortable over a period of time’ and using your techniques to create that breakthrough quickly and sooner is really valuable. Just think of all the income that could have been earned in between!
