Early Bird Tickets Available! Save $700Yes! I want to GO!!!

IMG_6302I used to take 5, even 6 vacations a year.  I’m not talking about long weekends, but instead of taking 10- 14 days at a time.  They were very nice vacations.  I was living the life in Corporate.  As soon as I’d return back from one vacation, I’d be planning the next.

What a change when I started my own business.  I thought I’d have all of this freedom to travel and be in charge of how I spend my time.  In the early years I was able to travel, but it was always for business.  Whether it was conferences or events, it was never about what I wanted to do.

The truth is as that time I couldn’t afford to go on vacation.  Not the type where I could choose the destination and really unplug and disconnect from the real world.  Well, that all changed 2 years ago when I started to plan AND take real vacations where I was able to unplug.   This past vacation is the first time I actually totally unplugged.  It was so amazing.

But, as I mentioned I couldn’t afford to do that when I first started.

How interesting that we become entrepreneurs for the time, and space freedom, yet most can’t afford to travel.  Even more interesting is that when I have conversations with the hundreds and hundreds of entrepreneurs I’ve spoken to, one of their biggest desires is to travel.  However, for many of them, it will never come true.

Another interesting fact is that only 10% of coaches make enough money to live on (without support from their family, spouses, being in debt, etc) and I happen to be one of them.

Let me share with you how you can go on vacation- even if right now, it doesn’t feel possible.

Here is my strategy:

  1. I set the intention (yes, you’ve heard this from me before and you’re going to keep hearing it- every time). Where do I want to go?  When do I want to go by?  Now, I’ve got my focus.
  1. I’ll put those dates on my calendar. No harm, no foul, right?  By putting those dates down nothing will happen.  I haven’t committed to anyone else…just to me.
  1. I start to figure out the “how”. How will I get there from here?  Sometimes, I can figure it out myself…other times, I need to ask my coach.  But, it’s important that I come up with a plan.  Otherwise, all this, is a dream and won’t become a reality.

So, where do you want to go on vacation?

  • Is it in your country or would you be traveling internationally?
  • What season do you want to travel?
  • What method? Plane, train, automobile, boat, bike, or foot?
  • Do you prefer to travel by yourself, with another person or a group?
  • Do you want to stay in a hotel, resort, Airbnb, with family/friends?
  • How long do you want to go for?
  • What other questions do you need to answer to come up with a plan?

That’s how you start.  The next step is creating a plan to finance your trip.  That’s actually the easy part.   Most people don’t even make it to this step as they give up before even starting.  (Sound familiar?)

Last step is to go on the trip.  Yay!  Good for you (remember to share your photos).

My recent trip was phenomenal and if you’d like help getting on track to take yourself on amazing vacations (meaning you’re making enough money to do this), apply for a Money Breakthrough Session with me.  If I learned how to do this, I can teach you, too!

Be Brilliant,
