Honestly, I couldn’t wait to share this with you.  This was good news that I couldn’t wait to announce at the top of my lungs.

I recently had the honor and privilege of being interviewed and featured by one the top DJ’s in Boston for the #1 radio station in Boston for her Exceptional Women Entrepreneur Series.  This was hugely significant for me as it got my message out in a much bigger way.

Now, the reason I’m telling you this story is not to brag, but to tell you that it all started several years ago when I discovered I had a fear of public speaking.  I hated it and felt like a “deer in the headlights”.  I worked with the best coach possible and let go of that fear and now look at public speaking as being so much fun.  Who would have thought several years ago when I made this change that this recent interview would have happened.  This was far from my radar.  Like most of you, I was focused on what was in front of me.  That’s why I always say to my clients, you never know what is possible.  Windows of opportunities open everywhere.  If I had procrastinated and not taken action to change, who even knows if my business would be around today?

I’d like you to now think of something you’ve been procrastinating about.   Perhaps, to take a course, go on vacation, get a massage, whatever you wanted.   Maybe one of the reasons you’ve been holding off is the lack of money to do it?

The more you procrastinate, the more your self-confidence drops.  The more things you say “no” because you can’t afford it, the lower your self-esteem drops.  You become really tiny and small.  It’s not a good place to be.

Let’s look at this differently.

What if you had the money to say “yes” to those things?  Imagine, if you could go on that vacation.  Imagine if you could take that course for your business.    Imagine if you could schedule regular massages for yourself.  Imagine all of the great things that would change for you.  You would feel strong, excited, happy, and most important confidant.  The more confidant you are, the more you will attract clients and wonderful opportunities into your business.  It all works together and becomes extremely powerful.
