“This is my plan. This is my year. Here’s how we’re going to do it. And, we are going to rock it!”
One of my team members reminded me that I had said this during a team meeting in December, when discussing 2016.
When I asked her how that felt to hear it, she told me that she thought it sounded really exciting. Now, here I am, 3 months into the year and I’m on track.
There are many things I have been implementing over the past year and I’m excited to see that they are paying off.
Are you on track for what you’ve committed to this year? If not, spend a few minutes looking at these action steps.
- Do you track your money (incoming) daily? Many entrepreneurs don’t focus on it until it’s too late. Then, become scared, frustrated, disappointed and sometimes even frozen. When that happens to you, it can often become impossible on your own to generate income. Your mindset is too far gone into a place of scarcity. However, if you’re paying attention to your money on a regular basis, you can then ask your coach to help you move into prosperity.
- Do you have a regular routine? This means a routine with publishing an ezine, video, and posting on social media. Many entrepreneurs do these tasks as the “spirit moves them” (meaning when they’re in a creative, spontaneous mood). However, this type of erratic action doesn’t attract ideal clients. Instead, they barely remember you. Always remember you want to create “know, like and trust” and that’s done by being consistent.
- Do you have a marketing plan of how to generate the income you desire? Many entrepreneurs have a number in mind, but don’t take the time to create a definite plan of how that will happen. I’ve seen newbies (and surprisingly higher level entrepreneurs) miss this important action step. It shows up in newbies as a lack of income while higher level entrepreneurs will see flat income instead of growth.
- Do you have a team that has your back? This is what that phrase means to me. They do what they say they’ll do when they said they’d do it by. Their quality of work meets and often exceeds my expectations. They think outside the box and give me suggestions. Lastly, they’re my back up memory. So, when I’m swamped, they make sure everything is covered. Often, by coming to me with a solution – not a problem.
These were just a few action steps that are very important. Don’t blow them off. Really, have a good look to see if you are doing them in the best way possible.
